Better than expected!

I stopped by the practice for the first time and had a better-than-hoped-for experience. The practice has an air of professionalism, competence and efficiency at all levels. I would definitely recommend the services of Dr. Mojaver and her staff.

Everyone is very nice. The work was great. The only thing I, personally, would like is a bit more explanation of what work is being performed while its being done and an explanation as to how costs may differ, what is necessary vs. recommended etc. As a new client, it would have been nice to see how to proceed with further visits so that I would know when I would get a thorough check up to start fresh, knowing that no problems would be missed in the mean time.

After the Doctor is done cleaning (removing plaque, etc), polishing was turned over to the hygienist. The hygienist did not polish each tooth; just brush the tool against teeth quickly and briefly. No flossing between the teeth after polishing. Need more training.

Austin Powers!

This is a really nice office, including both the people, and the office itself. It is really beautiful and modern inside and the location is pretty much right off the freeway for easy access. Dr. Mojaver will answer all your questions and address all you concerns no matter how many you have, and I had many! The best part for me was to watch Austin Powers 2 while getting my root canal! Helped a lot.

My old dentist of almost 30 years really didn't explain the procedures to me and since my group insurance covered most of it, I didn't think I needed to know. Now that I am retired and my insurance coverage is much different and my co-pays are more, I realize how important it is that I understand what the treatment is and how is affects me. Dr. Mojhaver is very good about explaining all the implications of each procedure she also breaks down the costs so I can understand and her patience is refreshing.

Very gentle dentist.

I was very happy with Dr. Mojaver. She was probably the most gentle dentist I've ever been to and she explained everything as she went along, which I like. I feel there was a little pressure on the "sell" for cosmetic treatments though. I felt a little pressured in that regard. If you can ignore that, I think she is a great dentist.
